Subject: Sanctuary City

Please know that I am personally completely opposed to Homer becoming a sanctuary city or whatever you decide to call it.  If someone wants to come to this country and do so legally, I will welcome them with open arms.  To defy the federal laws, to stomp our feet and cry and act like a spoiled child because we don’t like the current administration is cutting off our noses to spite our faces. Children eventually learn to live by the rules.  There is nothing noble about providing a safe place for those who are not here to contribute or make our beautiful land a better place to be or have criminal records.
