I applaud the city of Homer for its ability to embrace all people without reguard of gender, race or religion.

I am not a resident of Homer. I visit your wonderful city often as my employer has built his business there. My children frequently play hockey in Homer. When we have visitors from out of state we always take them to Homer.

I have read this resolution and I am saddened by the amount of half- truth it contains.

Obviously, the people of Homer voted for Donald Trump more often than they voted for any other candidate. Please do not let the squeaky wheels drive this city in the wrong direction. Yes I'm speaking of Donna Aderhold, Catrion Reynolds and David Lewis the authors of this painful resolution.

I implore the great citizens of Homer to reject this resolution. If this resolution passes I will not be visiting Homer or spending my money there.
