Subject: NO TO Resolution 17
Mayor Brian Zak,
I oppose Homer's Resolution 17-xxx. I was born and raised in Homer and have deep roots there. If this resolution is to pass I will no longer do business in or travel to Homer.
I am a long time commercial fishermen who has done lots of business in Homer for many years, as have my family before me. My entire fishing family is in agreement and will also no longer buy or sell goods in Homer if if this Resolution passes.
I am also a parent of a competitive wrestler and a hockey family who will no longer travel to Homer to compete and do business if this resolution passes. Our extended family will also make it a point to encourage all we know to do the same and stay out of Homer if you choose to go forth and pass this bill. As a hockey, wrestling, fishing and tourist town is this resolution truly in Homer's best interest?
Sincerely,
A Concerned Patron
