Subject: Pro-resolution 17-019

Hi, I live in Homer (5011 Alder Ln.) and I support resolution 17-019; the federal actions it refutes are important to stand against because they:

-amount to an unfunded mandate from the federal government,

-create a sense of dis-ease among some residents of Homer who have immigrated here, and

-create a class of Homer people who will think twice before calling the police to help with community violence and crime because of fear of not having federal paperwork in order.

Thank you for considering my point of view on this.

Sharon Roufa
