Subject: RESOLUTION 17-019

Please add my name to the many that strongly support this resolution. I have been a resident of the Homer area for over 40 yrs. I am small businessman who deals with the public plenty. I own a landing craft and make my living taking locals and tourists to destinations all across Kachemak Bay.  I move hundreds of people each season who

besides hiring me also eat in local restaurants, stay in local B&B's,hotels,VRBO homes, as well as camp on the Spit and spend money in the many shops there.  I spend thousands of dollars with local mechanics, welders, gear vendors, electronic repairmen, fuel suppliers, and general Harbor fees.  This resolution will in NO WAY impact my business in a negative way...to the contrary, it probably adds to it!!! If someone decides they just can't come to Homer because of this resolution so be it.  I welcome their decision..Thank You Catriona Reynolds for bringing this resolution forward.
