Subject: Support for Resolution 17-019

Dear Homer City Clerk,

I am writing this email in support of the Homer City Council resolution 17-019. I believe that this resolution, meant as a statement of inclusion, shows Homer in its best light, as a place where anyone and everyone is welcome to make a living and live the life they want free from intimidation and fear.

I also disagree with those who may state that this resolution is unnecessary or that it injects politics into a problem that does not exist here. National issues become local issues and I believe that this non-regulatory resolution is a fine example of making the outlook of our inclusive community known without passing a political or regulatory law. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Phil Barber
