Dear Councilman Lewis,
Thank you for withdrawing your support and voting down Resolution 17-019. The overall sentiment of goodness and decency to our fellow mankind is noble, but I felt this resolution was born simply out of a deep hatred for President Trump and his supporters, and even in its amended form contained many problems and would have been harmful. Thank you for standing up for the overwhelming will of the people.
